Sapp started his DJ in career 2004 doing small house parties with just his laptop and a cheap house speaker and the love for hip-hop, rock, EDM & reggae music. Shortly after... he found himself doing DJ gigs at small neighborhood dive bars. Doing scratches on the turntables, he always had fun performing in front of any crowd. After a year of DJing, he started attracting more attention to his open format styles of music which is deep in hip-hop and top 40 remix's. And soon after... began his career as a DJ in the Philadelphia area.

In 2015 Sapp has recently adopted Video DJing into his skillset to venues that has the ability to support video.

Currently diving deeper into remixing, production and Video DJing, there are many more exciting things to come from DJ Sapp. If you book Sapp for your event, you will, without a doubt, get a dynamic DJ who is comfortable in front of any crowd. No dance floor is too small or big.

That’s how Sapp describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his musical selections is his own therapy. Having grown up on his eclectic combination of hip-hop, Reggae, European electronic 80s music... all which became infused with his own love for music, Sapp ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence.

Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, banging basslines, and occasional vocal hooks... all of which translate to foot-shuffling dance music.

A very active member of his local community, Sapp is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a city music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, wedding's and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer, and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.

“For me, it’s all about the crowd... playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date. “
